An exciting opportunity to work in the central finance function of a Global Media organisation as a Finance Intern. The role will encompass various areas of central finance, treasury, accounts payable, general ledger and royalties.



  • Prepare daily bank lodgements for all sterling and foreign cheques
  • Making various cashbook entries
  • Updating Vat file
  • Update Treasury KPI files for all cheques banked

Accounts Payable

  • Ensuring invoices coded and have correct level of approvals
  • Resolving supplier queries
  • Processing invoices through to payment

Royalty Processing

  • Assisting in the day to day functions within the royalty team, including product set up, statement production and other ad hoc queries

General Ledger

  • Assisting Management Accounts team to ensure all journals are processed accurately and timely

Key Skills/Experience

  • Desire to work in a finance team
  • Numerate and strong on detail
  • Mature and organised approach, self-starter, able to take the initiative
  • Excellent administrator
  • Excel skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Confident working with both finance and non-finance staff
  • A passion for books
