In addition, we also publish the works of Agatha Christie, JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis.

HQ is the newest division of HarperCollins, publishing a bold and diverse range of fiction, non-fiction and Young Adult titles, from established brand authors to exciting debut voices. HQ are currently looking for a Campaign Manager to join their marketing team. The successful candidate will bring their knowledge of the market and prior trade marketing experience to produce outstanding marketing campaigns that will deliver consumer cut-through, drive sales across all formats and build upon the author's profile.


  • Deliver strategic, focused and creative campaigns for key releases and authors across the division that fulfil the objectives set out for each book and author
  • Develop innovative, creative and targeted marketing activity including all planning, briefing and delivery - from pre-awareness through to launch and beyond
  • Adhere to the critical path in delivering marketing requirements in timely way through the publishing process
  • Ensure that appropriate marketing materials and communications, for B2B and B2C channels, are produced on time & in accordance with business needs
  • Strive for innovation across all channels to produce market leading campaigns that will create cut-through and deliver on sales targets
  • Ensure that delivery of all creative, media, and digital plans are on brief and in budget.
  • Ensure all marketing campaigns are implemented to optimum efficiency with demonstrable metrics
  • Measure and evaluate campaigns, sharing learnings and optimising for future activity
  • Work with brand and media partners to leverage reader interest and expand our consumer reach
  • Support a culture of collaboration and integration, working closely with Publicity, Sales, Editorial, Digital, Design and Production teams to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met
  • Actively seek new trends and platforms and be informed about new digital marketing insights and opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of social media accounts, campaigns and communities across the division
  • Proactively contribute to the development of author brands and backlist

We're based in the News Building which we share with our News UK and Dow Jones colleagues in the newly-established London Bridge Quarter, opposite the famous Borough Market. Our new open-plan office has amazing views across London, and includes a variety of break-out areas to aid inspiration and a collaborative approach, a multi-media suite, and a fabulous canteen floor and book shop.
