We produce resources for UK and International curricula to support teachers and pupils at school and outside the classroom environment.

Our Collins Learning team is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager, Maternity Cover. The role works with the Marketing Director to deliver strategic marketing plans for online marketing that achieves sales and revenue targets for all Education websites within Collins Learning. This role works across all Collins Learning but has specific responsibility for revenue on the website. This role works closely with the wider marketing team to support integrated off and online campaigns.



  • Plan and implement Ecommerce strategy alongside the Marketing Director.
  • Implement site development priorities, working closely with our project manager to deliver new functionality.
  • Using analytics tools to report on Ecommerce activity.
  • Support online partnerships and advertising including writing ad copy and briefing designs
  • Adding and monitoring onsite promotions and codes, including running usage reports
  • Manage external supplier relationships to ensure website performance is maintained and service level targets met
  • Updates to website CMS controls and onsite copy and images for e-commerce sites
  • Being first point of contact for customer website issues and handling/resolving issues where possible

Email Marketing and PPC Campaigns

  • Implementing email marketing strategy as well as monitoring campaigns, reporting and supporting the greater marketing team with their email campaigns.
  • Search Engine Marketing support including monitoring PPC campaigns and working on website optimisation projects

Social Media Management

  • Enable the community and engage with key influencers.
  • Own the day to day management of social media including content creation, use of social media management tools, and moderation across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other channels.
  • Manage the blog, email and social media channels.
  • Develop and own the content calendar for our social media channels.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns incorporate social media activity as appropriate with realistic outcomes achieved

Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Support the implementation of the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Interpret analytics and report on impact of community and social activity in relation to performance of the site.
  • Work with rest of marketing team to ensure that our online destinations are providing what users need. Propose developments and improvements as required and work with the team and suppliers to implement.

Line Management

  • Line manage and oversee Digital Marketing Internship programme.

Key Skills/Experience

  • Strong track record in E-Commerce management
  • Established marketing expertise, ideally developed in publishing or professional sectors
  • Proven track record in managing digital marketing campaigns utilising all digital platforms - Ecommerce, social, email, PPC, SEO
  • Using marketing to successfully drive sales
